A great turn out for Council’s Double Dose Challenge at Blackhawk Farms Raceway. Sixteen cars practiced, 13 qualified and 12 started the race. Four CPVRG members made it to the race this weekend with another podium finish for member Bill Oakes. Enjoy.
A CPVRG member didn’t just win Midwestern Council of Sports Car Clubs’ Vintage Driver of the year for 2014 – two did! Congratulations to member John Connell and John Saccameno for being named this year’s MC Vintage Drivers of the year . Very well deserved, boys.

100+ degree heat indexes didn’t keep Checkered Past VRG racers from placing two members on the podium in Midwestern Council’s July 15th race.
